Curriculum
English is the
medium of instruction. The curriculum includes English, Hindi, Punjabi,
S.Sci. EVS, Science (Biology, Physics and Chemistry) Mathematics, History,
Fine Arts, Craft, Civics, Geography, Economics, Instrumental Music, Moral
Science, Physical Education, Health Education, General Knowledge and
Computer.
Hindi is taught
from Class KG. Punjabi the third language, is taught from Class III onwards.
Computer Science is introduced from Class I as a compulsory Subject.
For classes XI and XII we have
Medical, Non-Medical and Commerce & Humanities streams. Various learning

The average of the marks obtained in each subject in all the examinations
will be taken into consideration for promotion. There will be no promotion
examination as such. Hence all the tests and examinations are equally
important. In order to earn promotion a child must secure minimum 50%
marks in aggregate and 45% in each subject.
If a child misses a particular test/examination, he/she will not, be
retested in the same. He/She shall also not be given a rank.
Each child (class VI onwards) is expected to read at least 5 books (English,
Hindi or Punjabi) from school library, maintain a record of the same in his
/ her school diary and submit the summary of each book read during the
session to the librarian.
